Nike Flyknit Technology

Nike Flyknit Technology

An interdisciplinary team consisting of IT-specialists, engineers and product designers worked for 4 years on developing the Nike’s Flyknit Technology. Their aim was to create a material, which gives people the feeling and comfort of wearing a sock. But still meets tough sports and running workout demands. It perfectly combines functionality and dynamic style, which makes the Flyknit Technology another groundbreaking innovation. It flawlessly fits to one’s feet and the cable like mesh is also extremely breathable, so Flyknit sneakers can be easily worn sockless. Nike firstly introduced the Flyknit Technology on sneakers and sports shoes during the Olympic Games in London 2012. Since then a variety of popular Flyknit models have been released by Nike, like the Free Flyknit, the Roshe Run Flyknit or the Flyknit Lunar.
