The brand KangaROOS was founded by the passionate runner Bob Gramm in 1979. Initially Gramm’s shoes were known fort their small pockets attached to theirs sneaker, where people could stow small items like keys or loose change. This has become a trademark for Gramm’s shoes and inspired him to name his brand KangaROOS, in reminiscent of the marsupials in the nature.
Especially in the 1980ies the brand received popularity through sponsorships within sports like running, basketball, football and baseball. In 1980 the marathon legend Bill Rodgers wins the Boston Marathon in his ROOS Combat and the ROOS Sky Walker became a classic in the NBA.

Our deliveries to third countries are tax-free export deliveries in accordance with the sales tax law § 4 No. 1a UStG. If the delivery takes place in non-EU countries, additional duties, taxes or fees may have to be paid by the customer, but not to the provider, but to the customs or tax authorities responsible there. The customer is advised to ask the customs or tax authorities for details before ordering.
For deliveries to the UK, the price quoted includes UK VAT. In the event of a return, any customs duties and handling fees will be reimbursed. A reimbursement of the shipping costs is excluded.
